A paid rewrite cannot change the actual duties or establish a professional position that does not exist. Describe and document the genuine operating arrangement.
Address the real evidence rather than the label
Preparation assistance may clarify accurate records, but should not manufacture job requirements or staffing. Keep those private costs separate from current official petition fees. Evaluate the managerial case from the real responsibilities before assuming an expensive presentation will resolve a substantive gap.
Ask the professional preparing the case, in writing, what the quoted scope covers and what it excludes: whether it includes reviewing the restructuring documents, corresponding with corporate counsel about the qualifying relationship, or responding to a request for evidence. Cost allocation does not change L-1A eligibility: the entities need a parent, branch, subsidiary, or affiliate relationship; the beneficiary needs the generally required continuous year of full-time foreign employment inside the relevant preceding three-year period; and the American role must be managerial or executive. Retrieving corporate records, obtaining certified copies from a registrar, translating foreign-language documents, reconstructing payroll history for the qualifying year abroad — each is priced by the hour or by the document, and each is worth scoping before it is commissioned.
