How can prototype records help explain a TN industrial-design assignment?

THE DIRECT ANSWER

Use them to show the applicant’s actual design contribution, purpose and responsibilities. A photograph of a finished object may not establish who designed it or what the proposed work involves.

Attribute the work and explain its purpose

Identify dates, design choices, team contributions and the relationship between a prototype and the final deliverable. Keep confidential material appropriately handled and preserve original authorship. The portfolio supplements the credential and employer account; it does not replace the applicable degree or diploma/certificate-and-experience requirements or prove that unrelated production duties are professional design.

A file for a multi-site assignment should open with a short written explanation of the arrangement: the employer's name, the fact that the therapist is its employee, the client facilities where services will be delivered, who supervises, and the expected duration of the engagement. Collect the appointment or contract document, the department's support letter, and the credential records the profession's listing requires. If the diploma-and-experience branch applies, the work is heavier: letters from previous employers describing management responsibilities, dates of employment, and enough detail to show that the roles were management in hotel or restaurant operations rather than supervisory work in an adjacent field. Where names or spellings differ across documents, bring the records that explain the difference rather than relying on an explanation at the counter.
