Some historical records may remain useful, but the proposed role and current process need their own assessment. Clarify what must be updated before accepting a filing quote.
Pay for the actual change in the case
Separate prior employment evidence, new managerial-duty evidence, translation, official fees and professional services. Verify current charges for the process selected. The earlier file may show specialized knowledge without showing the new managerial role. A lower-cost copy of that narrative is not a substitute for documenting the promotion and its actual operational consequences.
Costs include the I-129 filing fee, the fraud prevention and detection fee, any asylum program fee that applies to the petitioner, optional premium processing, and professional fees; check current amounts in the USCIS fee schedule (G-1055). Where an employer wants a figure before committing, give two: the published charges checked on the day, and an estimate of the internal hours, with the note that a second round after a request for evidence costs roughly what the first assembly cost. Verify continuing foreign business and either U.S. business or compliance with the initial new-office requirements, and budget separately for filing, legal, relocation, and staffing items without treating expenditure as eligibility.
