U.S. visa support in St. Albert. YOURAMERICANDREAM.

Let’s make your move.
✦WORK.
BUILD.
BELONG.

Hypothetical St. Albert example: a household has an existing TN arrangement, the employer proposes changed responsibilities, and a child is approaching a dependent-status age limit. Compare each current fact with the actual immigration record. These are illustrative planning questions, not claims about the frequency of such cases in St. Albert.

THERE’S MORE THAN ONE WAY FORWARD.

THE DREAM IS YOURS.
LET’S FIND THE WAY.

TN, L-1A, L-1B, E-2, EB-5 and Gold Card have different professional, organizational, investment and immigration requirements. A change in circumstances should be assessed against the conditions of the actual classification and process. Do not assume every change requires the same filing or that an earlier decision covers a materially different proposal.

Compare the current facts to the last approval

Start from the document that was actually filed or approved, not a memory of it.

Selections stay in this page session; no personal documents are collected here.

FOR PEOPLE WHO SEE A LITTLE FURTHER.

YOU WEREN’T
MADE TO
THINK SMALL.

Start by finding the most recent approval notice, admission record, or filed petition, and read exactly what it actually says rather than what the household remembers it saying. List every fact that has changed since then, whether that is an employer, a duty, a family member's age, or a business's ownership, and identify who can document each change. A file that clearly separates the old facts from the new ones is more useful than one that quietly assumes the earlier approval still applies.

THE BIG MOVE. BROKEN DOWN.

FROM “ONE DAY”
TO YOUR NEXT STEP.

Personal support.
A practical plan.
No promises we can’t keep.

01

Pull the last approval or filing

Locate the actual notice, admission stamp or electronic record, and the petition or application it belongs to, rather than relying on a remembered summary of what was approved.

02

Name what specifically changed

List each change in employer, duties, family composition, ownership, or dates since that filing, and identify a document that can support each one.

03

Test whether the change still fits the same category

Compare the current facts against the requirements of the category currently relied on, and flag anything that now points toward a different route or a new filing rather than an extension.

04

Set the real deadline, not an assumed one

Confirm the actual expiration or filing deadline from the current documents, and treat any target date offered informally by an employer or seller as provisional until it is checked.

A LITTLE CLARITY GOES A LONG WAY.

YOUR FUTURE.
NOW BOARDING.

A first conversation about a change in circumstances does not require the household to have already decided whether it needs a new filing or an amendment to an existing one. Bring the prior approval notice or petition along with a plain account of what has changed, and let that comparison, rather than a guess, determine what is actually needed next.

SUPPORT THAT REACHES YOU.
A BIGGER HORIZON.

Arrive with the actual prior approval or filing documents and a short written account of what has changed since then. Ask specifically whether a review covers only the change in question or the whole case, since immigration eligibility, business or transaction diligence, and tax consequences are often handled separately, and a single consultation does not automatically cover all three.

BEFORE THE BIG MOVE

LET’S CLEAR
A FEW THINGS UP.

Does a newly joining family member automatically receive the household’s existing status?

No. Identify the person’s eligibility and the process for establishing their own status. The appropriate application, admission or other step depends on nationality, classification and circumstances; an existing approval for another person does not extend automatically to the new family member.

Does an approaching 21st birthday change what needs to happen first?

It can. Some dependent categories require an unmarried child under 21, so a birthday approaching during a pending or existing case is a fact that needs review well before the date arrives, not after.

Can an existing L-1 arrangement be amended instead of starting over?

Sometimes, depending on what actually changed. A change in duties, entity, or ownership may or may not fit within the existing petition, and that has to be assessed against the current facts rather than assumed either way.

Which date should we use when planning the next immigration step?

Review the most recent individual status and approval records and the applicable filing rules. Distinguish a passport or visa expiry from authorized stay. Do not assume a commercial extension or a pending request automatically authorizes additional stay or work; have the actual circumstances and dates assessed.
