Plan access while reviewing the investment and petition evidence, rather than discovering at the later stage that only promotional summaries are available.
Keep the later immigration showing in view
Form I-829 is generally filed within the 90 days before conditional residence’s second anniversary, not the second anniversary of a deposit or subscription. The relevant job showing and supporting records must be assessed for the actual case. An investment payout or a project completion announcement does not itself remove the conditions on residence.
Beyond the qualifying capital investment, expect administrative fees charged by a regional center where applicable, USCIS filing fees for the immigrant petition and adjustment or consular processing steps, and professional fees for legal and source-of-funds documentation work. Sequence the purchase around what is knowable: when funds documentation is complete, when the enterprise accepts subscription, and when a visa number would realistically be available for the applicant's chargeability, which usually follows country of birth. The clock that matters begins when the full qualifying capital is invested or irrevocably committed and the petition is filed, so a payment schedule that runs eighteen months delays the filing rather than running alongside it.
