Obtain the relevant job methodology, allocation explanation and supporting records for the actual project and investor. A marketing chart is not a complete evidentiary account.
Trace the figure to its basis
For direct employment, identify qualifying employees and full-time positions; full-time generally means at least 35 working hours per week. The investor, spouse, sons or daughters and nonimmigrants are excluded from qualifying employee counts, and independent contractors are not direct employees. Regional-center methodologies require their own applicable analysis rather than relabelling a direct payroll list.
Everything that turns a completed business sale into a documented chain: the share purchase agreement, valuation, closing statement, corporate and shareholder records, personal and corporate tax filings, and then bank statements tracing the proceeds account by account into the enterprise. Everything that explains how the money was lawfully earned and everything that shows where it went: business sale documents, closing statements, tax filings, loan agreements and security instruments, property ownership records, and consecutive bank statements for each account the funds pass through. The trail is the purchase agreement, the closing statement, the corporation's bank records showing receipt, the resolution or dividend record authorizing payment to the owners, the personal accounts receiving it, and the transfer to the project escrow.
