Coordinate the budget with the actual process
Confirm the current terms and authorized payment steps rather than assuming a preferred conversion date requires government action. Eligibility, admissibility and visa availability remain relevant. Do not promise residence or a work start from the date funds are set aside.
A framework in which vetting precedes the major payment gives an applicant a natural checkpoint, and anybody encouraging a departure from that order is asking the applicant to give up the one structural safeguard the process contains. Address an access issue promptly through the applicable process; a contact problem does not automatically extend a deadline or guarantee a fixed residence date. A scheduled interview guarantees neither approval nor a moving date: assess housing, schooling, and business commitments through the decision and applicable admission steps. Obtain written advice on sale timing, tax, family configuration, and the published sequence of fee, vetting, payment, and immigrant processing before making an irreversible business decision. Payment and even successful vetting do not confer status; the applicant works in the United States only when admitted in a status that permits it, which for permanent residence means after the immigrant visa is issued and used.
