Review the current professional arrangement and duties before relying on the earlier evidence.
Document the changed project
Identify the actual recipient, location and professional responsibilities. Explain whether the work remains within the qualifying arrangement, and assess the relevant process before the changed assignment begins. A previous project description should not be presented as the current offer simply to protect a start date.
A Canadian citizen may request TN admission from an officer at a land port or airport preclearance location with proof of citizenship, the prearranged professional employment, and the required credential. Work backward from the employer’s last workable start date, allowing time to obtain the contract, citizenship proof, and the credential evidence required by the selected USMCA profession. A Canadian citizen can apply at a port of entry on the day of travel, but redrafting the offer, obtaining transcripts and restructuring a contractor arrangement into employment are what consume the calendar. Request the corporate and governance documents at the same moment the offer is received, not after the professional qualification has been confirmed, because those two enquiries run in parallel and only one of them depends on another organisation's cooperation.
