Attribute the work accurately and explain the applicant’s own knowledge and responsibilities. Joint development does not require inventing sole authorship.
Use examples that separate the contributions
Identify what the specialist diagnosed, taught or decided and how colleagues contributed. A shared document can support the explanation when its context is clear. Do not claim exclusive access merely because the applicant leads a session. Protect sensitive material through appropriate case review while retaining a meaningful account of the knowledge used in the U.S. assignment.
Corporate documents proving the qualifying relationship, payroll records covering the qualifying year, and a detailed evidentiary record of the knowledge itself: design and technical documentation, internal training materials, deployment history and a duties description tying all of it to the United States assignment. Employment dates come from payroll registers and the leave ledger; physical work location from travel and assignment records rather than the office address printed on a contract; knowledge from project registers, commissioning or validation logs, dated internal training records, and documents the applicant wrote.
