Family eligibility and assessment belong to the actual people concerned.
Rebuild the household plan for the new principal
Current terms add US$15,000 processing and a US$1 million gift for each intended eligible joining spouse or unmarried child under 21, including corporate cases. Initial inclusion is recommended. Do not treat one household’s identity checks or documents as transferable to another household.
Where a household's plan depends on a particular treatment of a child approaching adulthood, obtain written confirmation before committing funds, since a transfer of this kind cannot be reversed once the answer turns out to be different from the assumption. Beyond money, each family member is assessed for admissibility on their own record, and children are subject to the age-21 rule, with the Child Status Protection Act applying only as the law provides for the underlying category. Problems arise when a household treats the gift payment as a guaranteed immigration result, overlooks a family member's separate issue, or relies on a superseded fee statement. A marriage, a birth, a child reaching an age threshold, or a separation during the process can alter who is included and therefore what the arrangement costs, and an agreement written around a fixed household will not answer the question.
