THE DIRECT ANSWER

Distinguish processing, the principal gift, eligible-family gifts and processing, and published corporate maintenance and transfer terms.

Keep per-person and corporate amounts apart

Current terms specify US$15,000 nonrefundable processing per person, US$2 million per corporate-sponsored principal after vetting and instructions, 1% annual maintenance and 5% transfer with a new background check. Each eligible joining family member adds a US$1 million gift and processing. Verify current instructions before payment.

Before engaging anybody, obtain a written description of the work, the whole price including sums payable later, a stage-by-stage refund position, and a statement setting out what the person believes the government terms to be. Budget separately for any government payment, legal advice, taxes, document collection, currency conversion, and relocation costs, and mark each item as confirmed or provisional. Only the processing fee is expressly described as non-refundable in the stated terms; do not infer either a general refund entitlement or universal non-refundability for every other expense. If the company imposes employment-service or repayment terms, disclose them as private commercial terms and obtain appropriate independent advice before treating them as immaterial.
