Which transaction dates belong in the specialist’s L-1B chronology?

THE DIRECT ANSWER

Record the effective organizational changes and employment periods supported by the actual documents, keeping announcements and planned closing dates separate.

Use the operative records

The chronology should identify who employed the applicant, how the relevant entities were related and when changes occurred. A single slide showing today’s corporate family may conceal the history. Preserve relevant signed agreements and employment records, and explain unresolved evidence rather than filling missing dates with the first public announcement.

Dated project records, escalation histories, internal design or procedure documents the person authored or maintained, training material they wrote, and manager statements pointing to specific work. Build a dated review file around training originals, project versions, supervisor confirmations, entity relationship records, and source files showing personal participation. Preserve dated drafts, revision histories, technical notes, project assignments, performance records, and statements from knowledgeable supervisors explaining what the employee created, adapted, or approved. Together they should show the vendor delivering a defined service, supervising and directing its own staff, and naming the vendor-side manager the specialist reports to, with the clinics receiving a product rather than an extra pair of hands.
