Explain the applicant’s actual authorship, technical subject and responsibility for making the material usable. A finished manual alone may not identify who did the work.
Connect the sample to the proposed profession
Distinguish the applicant’s writing from source material, editing and team contributions. Use appropriate records without exposing confidential information unnecessarily. The sample supports the duties explanation but does not replace the required credential, experience where applicable, citizenship or employer documentation.
The most useful thing an employer can provide is specific and boring: a letter that names the employing entity precisely, describes the professional duties in operational language, identifies the listed profession being claimed, and states the period and terms of engagement. At minimum, the role identified by profession, a specific description of the professional duties, the party receiving the services, the remuneration arrangement, and a defined engagement period. Build the file around an employer letter that states the prearranged position, actual functions, compensation, expected duration and worksite, while explaining what the grade means inside that company. TN remains limited to Canadian or Mexican citizens performing prearranged work in a listed profession with that profession's qualification; a Canadian permanent resident does not qualify by residence alone.
