A signature can evidence responsibility but does not establish that the applicant primarily manages rather than performs the underlying operating work.
Explain the work leading to the signature
Identify the professional positions managed, discretionary decisions and allocation of routine preparation. If the manager must personally produce most schedules during each closing cycle, describe that honestly. The corporate relationship, continuing business and qualifying foreign year remain separate requirements; a senior title or financial responsibility alone does not supply them.
Managerial capacity is usually shown by supervising and controlling the work of other supervisory, professional or managerial employees, having authority over hiring and firing or recommending those actions, and exercising discretion over day-to-day operations. Confirm a parent, branch, subsidiary, or affiliate relationship; document one continuous year of full-time employment physically abroad within the relevant preceding three-year period; and show that the proposed American job is managerial or executive. Executive capacity turns on directing the management of the organization with wide discretion under only general supervision; managerial capacity turns on managing a department, function or subdivision and supervising professional or supervisory staff.
