Keep the installation schedule conditional on the immigration position being resolved. A customer deadline does not authorize the employee to begin work, and a revised placement may need assessment before the plan can proceed.
Identify which project decisions can remain flexible
Tell the filing team about the delivery deadline at the beginning, along with the proposed client site and supervision arrangement. Track changes to those details in one dated document. Ask the business to plan operational contingencies independently of any hoped-for decision date. Avoid describing a rushed installation as a different type of visit merely to fit the calendar; the activities the employee will actually perform are the relevant facts.
Confirm the underlying transfer elements too: one continuous qualifying foreign year within the relevant three years, an active parent, branch, subsidiary, or affiliate relationship, and petitioner control over the assignment. When the beneficiary will be stationed primarily at an unaffiliated third-party site, the client must not principally control and supervise the beneficiary, and the placement must relate to a product or service requiring petitioner-specific specialized knowledge rather than supply labour for hire.
